Bataka Rural Community Development Agency (BRCDA) – Uganda, is a voluntary community-based Organisation with a national agenda which is working with the aim to provide communities with all-embracing empowerment on poverty eradication, sustainable environment conservation, food security, water, sanitation and hygiene, health care, socio-economic enhancement and ongoing support to shape responsible and productive citizens with neither political nor religious affiliations or ambitions.
We aim to provide underprivileged communities with access to appropriate healthcare by supporting basic medical services through donations. These efforts are coordinated in partnership with local community health facilities in the areas where the organisation implements its projects.
Since its inception as a community-based organization in 2007, BRCDA–Uganda has undergone significant organizational transformation, evolving from small provisional work arrangements into a well-established and durable formal institution. This growth has necessitated the development of comprehensive structures and policies characteristic of formal organizations. These structures define authority, guide policy formulation, and establish procedures that govern program activities while also providing frameworks for internal management and external relations.
