About Our Organisation

Bataka Rural Community Development Agency (BRCDA) – Uganda, is a voluntary community-based Organisation with a national agenda which is working with the aim to provide communities with all-embracing empowerment on poverty eradication, sustainable environment conservation, food security, water, sanitation and hygiene, health care, socio-economic enhancement and ongoing support to shape responsible and productive citizens with neither political nor religious affiliations or ambitions.

We aim to provide underprivileged patients the appropriate healthcare needed through basic medical services donations that could be coordinated with the local partner community health facility(ies) at the locations where the Organisation operates its projects.

Since its inception as a Community based organization in 2007, BRCDA-UGANDA has undergone a process of organizational transformation; a kind of institutional metamorphosis. The process has seen the programs evolve from small provisional work arrangement to a large and durable formal institutional setting. Such transformation has brought along demands for the establishment of elaborate structures and policies that are an essential or characteristic of formal organizations. Such structures serve to define power and authority to formulate policies and procedures that govern the program activities and to provide guidelines and controls for international relations.

Our Achievement in Numbers

Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness. Happiness does not come from doing easy work but from the afterglow of satisfaction that comes after the achievement of a difficult task that demanded our best.
