Bataka Rural Community Development Agency (BRCDA) is a community-based organisation working exclusively in rural Uganda to strengthen sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and environmental conservation, with a strong focus on women-led rural development.
We partner with smallholder farmers—especially rural women—to improve food security, restore degraded landscapes, and build resilient livelihoods through climate-smart agriculture, agroforestry, soil and water conservation, and sustainable land management.
Through farmer-centred approaches such as demonstration farms, women-led producer groups, and community training, BRCDA promotes inclusive participation, local ownership, and long-term environmental and economic sustainability.
